DIAGNOSIS OFFERS HOPE FOR A CLEARER, BRIGHTER FUTURE - OPENING THE DOOR TO EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES TO MANAGE LIFE AS AN INDIVIDUAL WITH ASD.
INITIAL CONSULTATION
This is a FREE 20-minute consultation that can take place by telephone or ZOOM depending on the potential client's preference. The purpose will be to provide the potential client the opportunity to share any concerns, ask questions, and to provide Jacqueline with background details which will inform the assessment process.

REGISTRATION
Once the potential client has decided to undergo an autism assessment, Jacqueline will request that they complete a basic contact details form and one or more screening questionnaire(s). They will also be asked to review the terms and conditions of the service, to provide written consent for undertaking the diagnostic assessment, and to make payment as specified in the terms and conditions.
DIAGNOSTIC SERVICE
This systematic process is multifaceted, including references to the DSM-5, UK NICE guidelines, and use of a carefully selected range of standard diagnostic tools including methods of interview, observation and various psychometric tests. Where possible, and as is standard procedure, loved ones or other trusted individuals will be invited to contribute to the assessment process, providing the specialist with wider insight into the client's traits and behaviours.

This assessment will take place by Zoom and can take 2 to 3 hours.
ANALYSIS AND WRITTEN REPORT
Following the diagnostic process, Jacqueline will formally end the session. Jacqueline will then review the findings from each of the diagnostic tools and document these in an assessment report. This report, which will either confirm or rule out an ASD diagnosis, will be sent to the client within 21 working days.
